Anthropomorphic sculptures made in 2018-2019. After making a bunch of garden dragonflies I put dragonfly and butterfly wings on androgynous human figures.   Continued to learn a lot about a various materials and products.  Also where I developed many of the skills and processes used in the abstract sculptures I make now.

There were two generations of these: 1st Gen sculptures were steel and fused glass.  Free standing or wall hanging; the former were typically mounted in granite rocks.  I spent much time with many kinds of paints and patinas.

For the 2nd Gen sculptures, I started to include Wedi board to give depth to the wall sculptures.  They are obvious – they stick out from the wall.  This was my transition point to abstract wall sculptures.
