This piece is the second abstract wall sculpture using Wedi board as a structural component.  The first was the Heart of Thorns piece which you can see here.  One of the other nuances to this piece is the use of acrylic paint on top of the copper plating on the front metal piece.

The “raw” glass strips are fed into the top which flows down to the glass fused in the center “hole”, ultimately emerging in free fall from the bottom.

I had actually made the glass for a different piece and it wasn’t working out so I broke it up and made it look like a waterfall for this piece.
